Members of the Drumchapel Asian Forum marked the arrival of 2019 earlier this month with a special event.
The forum started in 2017 to bring together residents originally from Pakistan who had settled in Drumchapel.
Last year some families spent a week together at Craig Tara in Ayrshire and the forum also organises workshops on Scottish culture and other recreational activities.
The forum invited residents from other parts of the city and those originally from India, Nepal and Pakistan, to celebrate the new year with food, song and dance.
It was held at the Royal British Legion hall in Knightswood and broadcast on Sky Asian TV.
