TWELVE cars parked in a Clydebank street where vandalised last week.

The damage was caused on Wednesday, January 2, at around 4.30am on Clyde Street.

Police are appealing for anyone with information and witnesses.

Allan Dickson, Clydebank community policing inspector, said: “Vandalism and anti-social behaviour have a detrimental impact on local communities not to mention the financial cost to victims.

“Enquiries are ongoing into these incidents including the review of CCTV and house to house enquiries.

“Officers are following a positive line of enquiry, but I would encourage anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously or indeed anyone who has knowledge of those responsible to please contact us.”

The vehicles damaged include a works van, Vauxhall Astra, and a Toyota sports car.

Most were left with smashed windows.
