CLYDEBANK High pupils showed their “enthusiasm and commitment” by volunteering on the popular St Margaret of Scotland Hospice Christmas Bus.

The iconic bus has been touring Clydebank and the surrounding areas since the start of the month to raise funds for the hospice.

A group of S5 and S6 pupils as well as staff had a fantastic night collecting around Dalmuir and Parkhall in the bus that is illuminated with Christmas decorations.

Lisa Masters, an S5 pupil, said: “St Margaret of Scotland Hospice supported my family during difficult times in the past, so I was happy to give back by helping out on the Christmas bus, we had a great time.”

The Whitecrook charity tour Clydebank and Glasgow every year to spread some festive cheer – and raise some much needed money in the process.

Staff and volunteers deck out a double-decker bus with lights, decorations and a speaker to blast everyone’s favourite festive tunes as they make their way around collecting donations.
