A MAN caught hiding in a Knightswood pensioner’s bathroom after bursting into her house has been refused a cab driver’s licence.
The city’s licensing bosses threw out Marcin Kudanowski’s application after cops warned that he had been convicted after breaking into the property on Alderman Road.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman revealed that the incident happened after Mr Kudanowski had attempted to enter three separate vehicles – including a car which had its owner inside.
After failing to gain entry, he knocked on a 76-year-old’s door – and when she answered he sprinted past her and locked himself in the bathroom in an attempt to evade cops.
Explaining his actions to Glasgow’s licensing committee, Mr Kudanowski said: “I was drinking with my friends and I had lost my girlfriend.”
Committee chairman Alex Wilson described the student’s actions as “very disturbing”.
