TWO new food outlets are set to arrive in Glasgow for the first time.

St Enoch Centre, in the city centre, will welcome Wrapchic and Sushi Stop early next year.

Wrapchic will be bringing its "distinctive style of Indian food for the 21st century" to the city when the Indian burrito company moves into a new 840sq ft unit on level one.

The restaurant promises to combine the vibrant flavours of Indian street food with an easy to eat Mexican format.

Dubbed "the differently Indian" outlet, it will feature a range of burritos, bowls, wraps, wrapchos and curry pots.

Intisar Ulhaq of Wrapchic, said: “We are delighted to bring Wrapchic to Glasgow and to add to the strong food offering at St. Enoch Centre.

"The centre is at the heart of the city and I am sure that our distinct fusion of Indian and Mexican will prove popular.”

While Sushi Stop will open in The Atrium, which welcomes more than three million visitors every year.

The 376sq ft unit will join the centre's existing eateries, from the likes of Nandos to McDonalds, to serve a selection of fresh sushi dishes.

Anne Ledgerwood, general manager of St. Enoch Centre, said: “St. Enoch is seeing an increased demand for eating and entertainment as part of the shopping experience and we are proud to welcome new food outlets to the city for the first time.

“Wrapchic and Sushi Stop further extend the choice for shoppers with Wrapchic bringing a distinctive fusion of Indian and Mexican while Sushi Stop offers a range of traditional Japanese dishes and we are sure they will be welcomed by our customers.”
