There was a great turnout for Lodestone Creative’s Christmas Market at Bowling Harbour on Sunday, December 2 and 9 when people got the chance to get into the festive mood and pick up some unique, handcrafted gifts for their friends and family.

Over 60 makers, from West Dunbartonshire and nearby, sold their goods at the market and pop up shop including hand-made jewellery, woodwork, paintings, photography and ethical and plastic-free products from the Rag and Bone Projects Zero Plastic stall.

Last Sunday was a particularly busy day at the market because it was good weather and people were able to enjoy sitting outside.

Visitors also got the chance to enjoy a spiced mulled wine and to admire Lodestone Creative’s unusual Christmas tree, a stunning sculptural copper creation by Drew Houston.

Jain McIntyre from Lodestone Creative, said: “The markets were a great chance for people to shop local this Christmas and to buy from local makers and crafters and be able to meet some of the artists involved.

“It was great to see so many people come out and support the collective of makers and spend some time at Bowling Harbour.”

The shop is open Thursday to Sunday until Saturday, December 23.
