A TOTAL of £2,600 was raised by Knightswood Congregational Church and Friends at their community pantomime.
A version of Disney’s Aladdin was performed over three nights at the end of last month.
A collection for the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre was also carried out and £100 was donated to the cancer charity.
The rest of the money will be going towards future events at the church, which is a registered charity and organises family events throughout the year.
In October, a free Hallowe’en party was held for more than 100 children.
And a summer family fun day is planned for 2019.
