The body of a 26-year-old man was discovered on the street
A section of Dumbarton Road was closed through Old Kilpatrick last night after the body of a 26-year-old man was discovered on the street.
Police have said there are no suspicious circumstances, and the road has now re-opened to traffic.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Around 10.40pm on Tuesday, December 4, a 26-year-old man died after falling from the Erskine bridge onto Dumbarton road at Old Kilpatrick.
"His relatives are aware and there would appear to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death. A report will be submitted to procurator fiscal."
