LITERARY rebels will be let loose in Drumchapel and Knightswood libraries next week as part of the Book Week Scotland festival.

The nationwide celebration of books this year is based around the theme of rebellion.

On Monday, November 19, former journalist Jackie Copleton will be discussing her debut novel in Drumchapel Library.

A Dictionary of Mutual Understanding is inspired by Jackie’s time living in Nagasaki in the 1990s.

And on Friday, November 23, city archivist, Dr Irene O’Brien will be opening up Glasgow Libraries rich collections to give an insight into Glasgow’s rebel past at Knightswood Library.
