The “Little Arts of Love” exhibition in aid of Mary’s Meals was visited by Gil Paterson MSP on Monday.

Mr Paterson met with Josephine Torrance from Faifley Art Group who organised the exhibition, held in the Backdoor Gallery at Dalmuir Library.

He said he was also pleased to meet local Bafta Award winning actor, Chris Reilly, who had popped in to show his support.

The MSP told the Post: “This is a fantastic display of the incredible talent we have in Clydebank.

“I was really pleased to see how many of the works have already sold to raise money for such a good cause but there are many beautiful paintings still available.

“Saturday morning’s selection of arts and crafts as well as additional paintings and handmade cards will be well worth a visit.

“I also have to say how happy I was to meet Chris Reilly at the gallery.

“Chris’s success in film and television is well known and his recent Bafta is well deserved and isn’t it heart-warming that he still makes the time and effort to show his support and give something back to his community?

“I would like to thank Josie and all the artists involved and encourage everyone to get along to the exhibition and support our talented artists to raise money for Mary’s Meals.”
