THIS is the moment a car was left on its roof this morning in Glasgow City Centre after a crash.

As previously reported by the Evening Times, Robertson Street was closed between Argyle Street and the Broomielaw after the incident just before 8am.

Drivers were advised to use an alternate route and police diversions had been put into place.

Fire crews rushed to the scene and remained on the street, with locals reporting lengthy delays.

A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were was alerted at 7.43am on Wednesday, November 14 to reports of a road traffic collision at Robertson Street, Glasgow.

“Operations control immediately mobilised one appliance and firefighters assisted emergency service partners.

“The crew is presently working to make the area safe.”

It’s believed no-one was injured and Robertson Street opened again at 9.50am.
