A FORMER Celtic Football Club scout has died at the age of 28.
Robert Rowan, who was the technical director of Championship side Brentford, passed away yesterday, according to a statement released by the club.
It is understood that the Scot, from Fife, took on the role in February. He previously spent more than three years as the club's head of football operations.

A statement on Brentford FC's Twitter read: "Everyone at the club is devastated by the news and our thoughts go out to Rob's friends and family at this time."
Robert previously worked as a scout for Celtic.
Celtic released a statement on Twitter which read: "The thoughts and prayers of everyone at the club are with the family and friends of former Celtic FC scout Robert Rowan.
"RIP, Rob."
