Celtic F.C. has teamed up with Gordon Nicolson Kiltmakers of Edinburgh to design a new tartan to celebrate their 130th anniversary.
The historic anniversary refers to the initial formation of Celtic Football Club during 1888 in the East End of Glasgow. The foundations of the club remain to "strive for excellence in Scotland and in Europe" while taking pride in its rich history.
Commissioning a new tartan, a national symbol of Scottish heritage, is fitting to commemorate the important role Celtic has played as an iconic team in Scotland's history.
