A BALLOCH man has been put on a three-month tagging order after head-butting the window of a police car.
James Morrow, 54, of Talbot Road, Haldane, previously admitted shouting, swearing, threatening to self-harm and repeatedly striking the vehicle.
The offence happened on July 10 at North Avenue, Clydebank, and in a police car en route to and at Clydebank police office.
On the same day Morrow breached a condition of a bail order imposed on June 26 by being in the company of a particular woman.
Defence lawyer Tom Brown told Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Friday: “He has been assessed as suitable for a restriction of liberty order.”
Sheriff Kevin Duffy said: “You will remain within your own home each night from 7pm until 7am for the next three months.”
