YOUNGSTERS from the DRC Youth Project in Yoker were recently given the gift of a pool table as a reward for their admirable volunteer work.
Last week, the group took the delivery of the latest addition for their campus in Yoker.
They have carried out volunteer work in the area by doing community clean ups and raised money for the local food bank as well as helping at New York Diners, who provide free meals within the community.
A spokesperson from the group said: “The young people wanted the pool table for all the local community and the many community groups who use the campus.
“Thanks to Dougie Taylor for letting us have it in the centre, the young people are loving it.”
