A SCOTTISH street artist has given a Glasgow Shelter Scotland charity shop in a makeover to mark its 50th anniversary.
North-east based “Fitlike Art” visited the shop on Great Western Road near the Botanic Gardens today and transformed the outside with an eye-catching mural.
The artist has a history of supporting Shelter Scotland with window displays in shops in the north east and a recent donation of prints for sale inspired by the tragedy at Grenfell.

Jacqueline Meade, Shelter Scotland community shop manager for the Botanics branch said: “Fitlike Art has made sure that our shop stands out from the crowd during Shelter Scotland’s 50th year and we’re really grateful.
“The support we get from people donating, shopping and volunteering ensures we can continue to help people affected by bad housing and homelessness. It’s wonderful to see Fitlike Art make the building look as special as everyone who supports us.”
The artwork will be unveiled to the public tomorrow.
