A SHERIFF has told a man that he is “running out of options” to avoid jail time.
Ryan Grace, 27, was in possession of heroin in Montrose Street, Clydebank, on March 5, 2016.
In a separate offence 18 days later Grace assaulted a man by punching him on the head and causing him to fall to the ground, and on the same day, at Dumbarton Health Centre, he struggled violently with police.
Grace, of Caledonia Terrace, Dumbarton, who had previously been put on a community payback order as punishment for the offence, on condition that he attend at the Turnaround programme in Paisley, appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court last Friday for a review.
Sheriff Maxwell Hendry told Grace: “You’re running out of options. It is all down to you. If you walk away from the Turnaround programme you will be breached and jailed.”
