A DOG is being held by Clydebank police awaiting a decision on its fate.
The American Johnson Bulldog is alleged to have attacked another animal near a property in Crown Avenue, Radnor Park, around 11pm on September 8.
Police later arrested a 29-year-old woman for allegedly failing to control the animal, one of two bulldogs she had at the time. One of the dogs ran towards a white Lurcher-type dog.
The woman was knocked to the ground with the two dogs fighting on top of her and she was later treated in hospital for bites and scrapes.
A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal who will decide the fate of the dog this week. It is currently in care of Clydebank police.
