A BABY from Clydebank was introduced to the Glasgow European Championships official mascot that she was named after.
Newborn Bonnie Taylor met Bonnie the Seal at Festival 2018 in the Merchant City on Saturday, August 4.
Her mum and dad, Amanda and Robert Taylor, along with sister Meredyth, managed to get a few “sealfies” with the mascot as she attended the festival during her Glasgow 2018 adventures.
Amanda said: “We choose the name Bonnie as we wanted a name that was really Scottish.
“The opportunity for our daughter and her sister, Meredyth, to meet Bonnie will be something exciting that will leave a lasting memory.”
Bonnie, based on a young female harbour seal, will be out and about in Glasgow during the 2018 European Championships and will be visiting the sports venues and GO LIVE at the Green which is open daily from 10am-7pm.
