POLICE have arrested a man and woman over the death of a 31-year-old man in Clydebank on Sunday.

Police were called to a disturbance in Radnor Street around 5.45pm and two men, aged 31 and 34, were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

The 31-year-old man died a short time later. The 34-year-old man remains in hospital in a critical condition, said police.

A 45-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman have been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.

There remains a heavy police response in Kilbowie Road this morning with an area cordoned off between Adriano's fish and chip shop and The Hub.

McColl’s Travel issued a short statement to its customers this morning.

The coach company said: “Due to a police incident, the bus stop at Kilbowie Road/Drumry Road will not be served on our service 184 for the remainder of the day.”
