A STOLEN car was torched near the Mountblow Sports Pavilion on Wednesday night.
Police are investigating after reports of the black Audi VRM on fire in Lilac Avenue at about 9.50pm on August 1.
Scottish Fire and Rescue confirmed one appliance from Clydebank attended the scene and the fire was quickly put out.
Police said a number of members of the public were in contact and the vehicle had been reported stolen from a property in Glasgow previously.
The car was totally destroyed and officers are carrying out enquiries. Anyone with information is asked to contact 101.
