A CLYDEBANK teenager who breached a court bail order has been detained for five months.
The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was allowed bail on October 25, 2017, from Glasgow Sheriff Court, but on December 13 he was found to be out of his home. It was part of the bail conditions that he remains at home each day between 7pm and 7am each day.
He was also on other bail orders from Glasgow Sheriff Court, imposed on August 7, 2017 and November 16, 2017 from Dumbarton Sheriff Court.
Defence lawyer Brian McGuire told the court that the youth was currently serving a sentence was his earliest date of release was July 19, a sentence imposed on him at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
Sheriff Maxwell Hendry said: “The report makes very sad reading for a boy of 17. You made bad decisions and must face the consequences.”
The boy was detained for five months.
