Police are investigating a pile of paper set on fire and put through a Drumry door last week.
The incident happened in the early hours of July 1 in Onslow Road that caused damage to the front door.
It is understood officers have a positive line of enquiry on the wilful fireraising.
In a separate incident, police are also probing a Vauxhall Crafter van set alight and destroyed along with the tools inside. The fire happened around 1.15am on July 2 in Gentle Row, Duntocher, and police are also following a positive line of enquiry in that case.
Meanwhile Clydebank police are also appealing for information over two incidents where cars were struck and the drivers made off.
Between 9pm on June 23 and 12.45am on June 24, at Durban Avenue, Clydebank, a vehicle struck a silver Vauxhall Corsa and failed to stop.
On June 25, between 9.45am and 5.45pm, a blue Toyota Aygo was struck while parked behind Primark at Clyde Shopping Centre. The driver failed to stop.
Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to contact Clydebank police on 101.
