A BODY of a man has been discovered in Drumchapel, police have confirmed.

The discovery happened Sunday evening in a wooded area near Southdeen Road and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland told the Post: "Around 9pm on Sunday, May 27 the body of a man was found within a wooded area near to Southdeen Road, Glasgow. 

"A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death. 

"The death is currently being treated as unexplained. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
