A SPATE of car break-ins has hit Clydebank recently.
The incidents have taken place in Cochno Road, Burnbrae Gardens, Vancouver Place and Wellington Place.
Between 5pm on Thursday, May 3 and Friday May 4, a car window was smashed in Cochno Road, with £75 in cash taken.
At Burnbrae Gardens, a car also had its window smashed at some point between 10pm on May 3 and 7.30am the following day. Keys, a fuel card and cash were taken from the vehicle.
A car was targeted on Vancouver Place overnight from May 5 to 6.
The incident in Wellington Place happened between 8pm on Saturday, May 5 and 7.30am on May 6. The car’s window was also smashed with items taken.
Officers have asked any witnesses to call 101.
Police have also reminded people to ensure their cars are secured and not to leave valuable items in plain sight.
