A MAN who flicked a lit cigarette at a woman and threatened a man while holding a hatchet has been ordered to do unpaid work in the community.
Stewart Miller, of Dalgleish Avenue, Duntocher, pleaded guilty at Dumbarton Sheriff Court last week to shouting and swearing at the woman on January 29, 2017, in Craigielea Road, and to threatening the man.
Sheriff John Hamilton told the 44-year-old: “You have not really been in serious trouble for a long time - it’s 20 years since you were last in custody. There’s obviously something going on in the close.”
Miller will be supervised for 12 months and must carry out 200 hours of unpaid work in that time.
