OLD Kilpatrick teenager Ross Anderson will take to the stage on Saturday for the Battle Rounds of The Voice.
The 17-year-old stunned judges with a stirring rendition of One Direction's Drag Me Down in the Blind Auditions in early February, leaving Jennifer Hudson with no choice but to turn her chair.
Explaining why she chose Ross, she said: “I loved your voice from the start and that’s why I hit my button.”
And now the Scottish hopeful will be paired for a head-to-head with an act mentored by the same judge.

The duo will perform the same song on stage together, with a place in the coveted Knockouts up for grabs.
Ross' former school Dumbarton Academy took to Twitter to show their support, and urged people to tune in for tomorrow's episode of The Voice, which kicks off at 8.30pm on ITV.
