POLICE are reminding Bankies to look after each other - and their belongings - as the new year approaches.
Clydebank police urged residents to stay safe on the roads and particularly avoid risking driving after any drink.
Inspector David Quinn said: "Here at Clydebank Police Office we all hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and would like to wish everyone a good New Year.
“We would also like to urge everyone who is enjoying the festivities to take care of their friends and belongings when out and to ensure they have the means to get home.
“Please drink sensibly and be safe, especially in this cold weather we are having. Best Wishes for 2018.”
