ALDI in Clydebank is on the hunt for local members of the Scottish Women’s Institute to get involved with a new competition looking to find the best shortbread recipes.
The winner will then see their creation turned into a SpecialBuy product by one of Aldi’s bakery suppliers and stocked across the supermarket’s 67 Scottish stores in time for Christmas.
The deadline for entries is August 1 and shortlisted contestants will be chosen for a ‘taste off’ at the SWI Handcrafts and Housewives Conference in Perth on September 6.
