A woman who scratched her partner on the face during a domestic disturbance has been admonished.
Elizabeth Johnson, 28, who lives in Drumry, had admitted assaulting her partner to his injury by scratching him on New Year's Day this year.
The incident happened at an address in Riddell Street on what was the woman's birthday.
Johnson had entered a guilty plea during an earlier court appearance when sentence had been deferred for good behaviour.
Sheriff William Gallacher admonished Johnson when she appeared back in the dock last Tuesday after hearing she had stayed out of any further trouble, adding "This is a sorry tale".
