FORGET Duncan Bannatyne – another one of Clydebank’s entrepreneurs has been honoured for her skills in business.
Alison Edgar received a special merit for the service industries’ Entrepreneur of the Year at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.
The 48-year-old, who grew up in Radnor Park and went to Clydebank High School, is the managing director of Sales Coaching Solutions, a sales and customer service training company.
The recent London ceremony aims to congratulate up-and-coming innovators from all over the UK for all the hard work and effort that they have put into the UK economy.
Alison, who now lives in Bath, said: “I was absolutely delighted to win the award. I started running the organisation part-time in 2011 while I was bringing up my children and only turned fully incorporated in April last year, so to win after such a short time in business is fantastic.”
Alison has also been shortlisted for the Sales Lifetime Achievement award for the British Excellence in Sales and Marketing Awards 2016. She has also It all comes after she received national media attention for her business success.
