The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles) to wait or load on the following length of road in the town of Paisley in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:
Closure: Seedhill, Paisley at its junction with Mill Street for approx. 50m.
Right turn ban: from Mill Street to Seedhill Road, Paisley and from Mill Street to Seedhill, Paisley. Left turn ban: from Mill Street to Seedhill Road, Paisley
Reason for Restriction: Traffic management works to tie in with Scottish Water works on Mill Street/Seedhill Road.
Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area.
Alternative Routes: Northbound on Mill Street - Mill Street, Glasgow Road, Kilnside Road, Seedhill Road or Benn Avenue, Seedhill.
Southbound on Mill Street - Mill Street, Lonend, Barrhead Road, Hawkhead Road, Seedhill Road, or Benn Avenue, Seedhill.
This notice will be in force from Monday
8th February 2021 until Friday 16th April 2021.
This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
