HAYES - John Peacefully passed away at home in his sleep on 1st January 2020, aged 73. John was married to Jane Hayes, who passed away in July 2018, leaving behind their three children, Ian, Janice and John, three Grandchildren Nicola, Alana and William and Great-Granddaughter Martha. John was the youngest of four children to Alexander and Anne Hayes from Shettleston, and is survived by his three sisters Anne, Kathleen and Helen. John was well known in Clydebank as an artist; running classes in the community and showed his work all over the surrounding areas. He loved being part of many different groups and was a long-standing member of the art group in the Hub. Funeral service at Clydebank Crematorium, North Dalnottar on Saturday 18th January 2020 at 9.30am to celebrate and remember John's life, and thereafter to North Dalnottar Cemetery.
