CLYDESDALE Harriers have been out in force in recent weeks with a series of races as part of the Tour of the Clydeside.

It started with the Kilbarchan Klassic 8k where Paul McKendry was fastest Harrier (33.10) followed by Pamela McCrossan (33.32) and Marina McCallum (39.44).

The following night Harriers took on the Garscube Gallop 7k trial race at Dawsholm Park. Pamela was fastest (31.48), followed by Paul (32.19) and Marina (34.16) Wednesday was the Canal Canter with Paul again on form (32.50) followed by Pamela (33.16), Gus Cairney (34.16) and Marina (37.55).

The Mugdock Meander 7k followed and Pamela was fastest once again (30.19), followed by Paul (30.53) and Marina (33.04).

Friday saw the final race of the series, the Bella Belter 10k, at Pollok Park. Fastest Harrier was Pamela to be second female in the race series then Paul (42.16) and Marina (48.00).
