JOHN Brogan insists Yoker won't be derailed in their league campaign despite having another game called off.
The Whe-Ho's top-of-the-table clash with title rivals Shettleston was postponed last week.
And on Saturday the Holm Park men had a free weekend once again when their clash with Carluke
Rovers fell foul of the bitter frost at Loch Park.
But the Athletic boss insists his side have not been put off by the call-offs and hopes his players can gain three points against Benburb on Saturday.
He said: "I stay in Hamilton which is nearby and it was very frosty there so I half expected the game to be called off.
"I don't see it as a set back - it is just one of these things you need to get on with. There's much worse things
in life than a game of football being called off.
"But Benburb will be another big test for us on Saturday.
"They are another team who are challenging us at the top end of the table so it will be another difficult match."
Yoker were given a difficult draw at home to Super Premier League high-fliers Largs Thistle, who are challenging for the title.
Despite the huge gap, Brogan is eagerly looking forward to the match in the New Year - but is adamant their focus is on gaining promotion.
He added: "I am looking forward to it. It will be a hard tie for us because Largs Thistle have been doing really well in the league.
"I haven't watched them in action this season but their results mean they merit respect.
"The West of Scotland Cup is a competition we want to do well in however it is normally the big clubs that reach the final. We are looking forward to the match - but we need to concentrate on the league as that is our priority."
Meanwhile, Clydebank were drawn against Super Premier League strugglers Vale of Clyde in the West of Scotland Cup.
