YOKER woes continued after they lost 4-3 to Shettleston on Saturday at Holm Park.
A minute’s silence was held before kick-off in memory of Coatbridge man Sean McKenna, with all West Region clubs taking part.
A Peter Weatherson brace opened the scoring for the visitors, putting them 2-0 up after 25 minutes.
Andrew Rankin reduced the deficit before the half hour mark, but Ricky McIntosh restored Shettleston’s two goal advantage shortly after.
Marshall clawed Yoker back into contention once more, converting his spot-kick after an hour.
But Ryan McStay struck home the visitors’ fourth goal after 72 minutes.
Gary Arbuckle scored the final goal of the clash four minutes later, but the Whe-Ho were unable to grab a late equaliser.
The result means that Yoker have now lost their fourth game in a row, after a promising start to the season.
The Whe-Ho’s next game is away to Girvan on Saturday, kick-off is at 2pm.
