Whe Ho had been leading going into the final third of the game but conceded four second-half to goals to lose their third league game in a row.

However McAulay is confident that now the selection issues he had have been resolved Yoker will improve.

He told SportScene: “In the first half we probably deserved the 1-0 lead but I actually only had 10 fit players yesterday. So it was difficult because we started to run out of steam and the two boys who were on the bench were both injured so I was reluctant to put them on.

“We just tired as the game went on and I couldn’t make the changes that was needed to freshen it up. We had five players missing yesterday through work and holidays. But as far as I am aware that is everyone’s commitments out the way so hopefully come the middle of the week we’ll have everybody back and a full squad to pick from.

“We will turn it round there is no doubt about it we have the players to do it we’ve just been a bit unfortunate in the last couple of weeks with the squad that has been available.” Yoker will travel to Fife on Saturday to take on Dundonald Bluebell in the Scottish Cup and McAulay expects a difficult encounter.

He said: “It will be a tough game they are a decent team. We’ll go through there knowing that if we don’t perform to our capabilities we won’t win. If we play anywhere near where we’ve played in the last couple of weeks it’ll be tough.”
