CLYDEBANK are all set for the second friendly of their pre season campaign as they prepare to face Cumbernauld United on Wednesday night (tonight).
The tie will take place at Clydebank High School, with a 7pm kick off, giving supporters and coaching staff alike the opportunity to cast their eyes over the Bankies’ new signings.
Boss Budgie McGhie has been busy throughout the close season patching up his squad which has seen three key players, Ross McPherson, Vinny Berry and Ciaran McElroy, depart the club.
The friendly against John Queen’s side is a repeat of last month’s Central League Cup final, where the Bankies came out 3-0 winners on the night at Newlandsfield.
A brace from McElroy and last minute effort from Reece Pearson sealed the win to the hand the side their fifth Central League Cup win and third since 2010.
