CLYDEBANK have announced their fourth summer signing following the news former St Mirren attacking midfielder Graeme Ramage has joined the Bankies.

Budgie McGhie is looking to reinforce last season’s squad following a number of departures and has turned to the 21-year-old for the upcoming campaign.

Ramage has plenty of experience having plied his trade in the senior ranks with St Mirren, Dumbarton and most recently Annan Athletic.

Making his way through the ranks whilst at the Paisley club, Ramage managed only one appearance in the first team squad under Danny Lennon, making his senior debut as a substitute in a 4-0 defeat to Celtic at Parkhead, replacing Steven Robb in the 77th minute.

He moved on to Alan Adamson’s Sons, in the hope of emulating fellow Saints’ youngster Jon McShane who enjoyed a fruitful spell whilst on loan, but once again found it difficult to make the leap to the first team and quickly moved on.

He then notched five goals in 15 appearances for Annan Athletic before turning to the juniors last season.

Ramage was signed by Arthurlie in March of this year, as part of a trio of signings by Dunterlie boss Gavin Duncan, but with the club battling relegation to the Super League First he found first team opportunities hard to come by.

Seen as an attacking threat and able to operate up front as well as in midfield, McGhie will be hoping Ramage chips in with his share of goals as he looks to fill the void left by last year’s top scorer, Ross McPherson, in the Bankies frontline, after McPherson moved on to Queen’s Park.
