Clydebank recorded an excellent win at Pollok last week which puts the Bankies in a great position for a top three finish.

One of the sides who will be battling with the Bankies to finish up the table as high as possible is Kilbirnie and this week it is the North Ayrshire side who visit Holm Park in the Premier Division.

The Bankies are currently sitting in fourth position in the league just three points behind Kilbirnie but have played three games less so a win on Saturday will draw them level on points, only a four goal victory would see them leapfrog Ladeside on goal difference.

Kilbirnie sufferd a set back last week when they exited the Ayrshire Weekly Press Cup to Largs so will be looking at this match as one where confidence can be restored.

When the sides met earlier in the season at Valefield they fought out a 0-0 draw but that result looks unlikely again as Kilbirnie have only failed to score in one match since then.

High Street bookmakers William Hill have installed Clydebank as 11/10 favourites for this match with Kilbirnie priced up at 7/4. The draw is 5/2.

Yoker head to Kilwinning in the league this week, hoping to put their last two cup matches behind them.

Both ties in recent weeks have been ones to forget as they lost 4-1 away to Whitletts a fortnight ago to exit the Scottish Junior Cup and on Saturday things got worse as they lost 6-1 to Neilston to exit the West of Scotland Cup.

Both matches were games that Yoker expected to win and they will be looking to bounce back to form in the league at Abbey Park this week.

Kilwinning have recently appointed a new management team and this will be their first match in charge of the club so everyone will be out to impress the new gaffers.

Yoker have four games in hand to Kilwinning but those will count for nothing if they don’t start winning them.

Bookmakers William Hill reckon it will be a close match but Kilwinning are slight favourites at 11/10 with Yoker priced up at 17/10 and the draw is 13/5.
