Saturday’s performance and where result leaves Clydebank I thought Arthurlie probably edged the game if we are being honest but we probably had the better chances in the game.

We can’t blame the referee for the first goal which comes from a set-piece again. We’ve been telling the players to get closer to their men when the ball comes into the box, we can’t keep losing goals like that.

We’ve said all along that we haven’t been playing badly and the win over Petershill showed that. We wanted to follow that up against Arthurlie but it wasn’t to be.

We still have an outside chance of getting away from relegation but I would say that Shotts on Saturday is a must win game.

When to start planning for next season It is a bit premature to start talking about next season, everyone at the club won’t give up on staying in the league until it is mathematically impossible.

However it is not unusual for us to go round players before the end of the season to try and get guys to commit for next year.

Whether the players will want to do that I don’t know some guys might hedge their bets. If they want to be at the club we’ll soon find out.

Bankies favourite Tommy Bryce leaving his post as Glenafton manager Tommy did a really good job at Glenafton so that was a bit surprising.

I think if you look at some of the managerial changes there in the past there have been some strange decisions but that is football.
