Clydebank’s league tie was one of a huge number of fixtures to fall foul to the weather across the west region on Saturday.

The Bankies were due to play Girvan at Holm Park, as they look to get back on track in the league.

It’s been almost a month since Kieran McAnespie’s side played a competitive tie, which was their 2-0 win over Pollok to lift the Sectional League Cup on Sunday, November 5.

They played one friendly last Saturday, beating Port Glasgow 3-0 at Parklea.

The Bankies fixture this week will see them try to take on Girvan again, with the tie scheduled for Saturday, kicking off at 1.45pm at Holm Park.

The Holm Park side currently sit second bottom of the table, with fellow promoted side Girvan sitting three places above them in eighth, but only three points ahead of McAnespie’s side.

Girvan were held to a 1-1 draw last week at Dunterlie Park against Arthurlie.

Marc McKenzie’s wonder strike putting Lie in front, but they were pegged back just minutes later when the Seasiders equalised via Steve O’Donnell.
