Yoker have signed three players and released one as they look to put the finishing touches to their squad for the season.

Former Clydebank defender Hashim Cole, Stevie Howie and Jaludi Karenzi have been brought in to bolster the Whe-Ho ranks, with Jordan McBride leaving the club.

And manager Steven Reilly was particularly impressed with Cole’s debut in Saturday’s 6-1 win over Forth Wanderers, with the defender going straight into the starting line-up.

He said: “Hash had a great debut on Saturday, and he’ll be a great acquisition for us and can play in many positions. He came in at centre-half and slotted into the back four really well, he defended really well. He’s got composure and brings in a great deal of experience for us.

“I’ve had Stevie Howie in before, I tried to sign him but his work commitments took him elsewhere, and it’s another midfielder for us. The squad is building up well for us.”
