A DISAPPOINTING second round for John Henry meant the Duntocher golfer missed the cut at Caversham Heath Golf Club.

Henry had got off to a strong start in the EuroPro Tour event, carding an opening round of 70 to leave him three under on the first day.

But he scored four over for the first nine in the second round, meaning Henry had it all to do to recover his score and to make the cut of two under.

Min Kyu Kim carded rounds of 65, 67 and 73 to win the Tour event by two shots to become the Tour’s youngest ever champion.

At just 16-years old, Kim claimed his first EuroPro Tour title at Caversham Heath Golf Club and lead from the first round. The final day was marred by poor weather and saw lightning suspend play twice.

There are four events left in this year’s EuroPro Tour, with Henry sitting in 18th in the order of merit.

At the end of the Tour, the top five golfers are rewarded with a Challenge Tour spot.
