Clydebank FC 2001s rounded off a good season by winning both the Dumbarton and Erskine festivals.

In the Dumbarton festival the club won the tournament without conceding a goal, winning group games 2-0 1-0 1-0.

They then took in local rivals Clydebank United, and romped to a 3-0 victory in the final.

The Erskine tournament was held over two weeks, during the first week the 2001s won their games 4-0, 2-0, 4-2.

And in the final week they beat hosts Erskine in the final 6-2.

The club recently held it’s player of the year dance, with several players picking up awards.

Manager’s player of the year went to Daniel Moran, Parent’s player of the year went to Ashton Russell and James Holt picked up the players player of the year award.

A club spokesperson said: “We would like to thank first team manager Kieran McAnespie and committee member Stuart for handing out trophies, and for Stuart’s wonderful speech about the clubs ambitions “The club made £1464 on the night and we would like to thank all our sponsors and everyone who contributed to such a successful night.”
