ST PETER the Apostle School's under-15s lifted two trophies last month to cap off a fine season.

The Clydebank school beat All Saints twice in May, in the Glasgow Cup Final and the Glasgow League Final at Auchenhowie.

SPTA 4 All Saints 2

Scorers: Joe Booth 2, Ciaran Harkin, Gary Gregg

Man of the Match: Ciaran Harkin

The day’s first game was the cup final and SPTA went into the break 2-0 up thanks to goals from Joe Booth and Ciaran Harkin.

Gary Gregg increased their lead from a corner shortly after the break.

But All Saints hit back two quick goals to set up a nervy final 15 minutes.

However Booth later got his second goal of the game to put the result beyond doubt.

SPTA 6 All Saints 2

Scorers: Jack Geddes 2, Rian Kelly 2, Joe Booth, Kieran McLaughlin

Man of the Match: Jack Geddes

The League final followed, with the two sides locking horns once again.

This time, however, it was All Saints who raced into a 2-0 lead.

The injured Liam Harris was replaced by Jack Geddes, who changed the game.

Injury to Liam Harris forced Jack Geddes to come on, but Geddes single-handedly changed the balance of the game.

Within five minutes SPTA were level, and went in at half-time with the momentum behind them.

They continued where they left off in the second half, scoring four goals without reply to seal a well-deserved double.

After not having won any trophies in their first two years at the school, the under-15s have completed the double.
