Duntocher professional golfer John Henry finished in 11th place in the Invitational Pro Am last week in Portugal.

Henry played around the three courses at Quinta Do Lago in the Algarve region.

He posted a score of four under in the Laranjal course, level for the South course and one over in the North course.

Henry picked up €800 in prize money for the finish, with winner Peter Gustafsson recording 12 under par over three days to scoop the grand prize of €8,200.

John will now be preparing for the next season in the Euro Pro Tour after securing full playing rights after finishing 28th overall in the order of merit.

He will be playing in several smaller competitions throughout the winter months.
