Congratulations to Clydebank Bowling Club on winning the Ackland Allan Bowl charity competition. The matches took place on Friday, May 6, with each club sending out six rinks to play at different neutral venues. Once the scores of all the matches were added together, Clydebank achieved the highest points difference. However, it was a close run thing as Albion BC were only six shots behind. CDBA official Derek Smith presented Clydebank president David Keel with the coveted Ackland Allan Bowl.
