Too poor for decorations?

Did you notice that there were no Christmas decorations at the Town Hall?

I called to find out why and was told that they were too old and had to be discarded.

Are we that poor that we cannot afford to buy new ones?

After all, we still pay our Council Tax.

Or is there some other reason for no decorations?

This is a Christian country (I think) and we should celebrate our beliefs.

Or is the majority bowing down to the minority?

William Sweeney, Dalmuir
