IT'S Throwback Thursday and as UFC star Conor McGregor is due in court in America for allegedly attacking a bus we thought we would remember his time in Glasgow from last year.

This is the moment UFC superstar Conor McGregor gets soaked with beer in a Glasgow club after he lead a chant about Celtic.

The Irish fighter appeared at Sanctuary nightclub over the weekend after taking part in a sold out Q&A with fans at the SEC Armadillo.

In a video posted on social media, the Dubliner is heard saying: "Where's Rangers at?"

He then leads the excited crowd in a song: "There's only one team in Glasgow.

"Walking along, singing a song, walking in a Celtic wonderland."

However, the chant didin't please everyone as McGregor can then be seen getting soaked by a flying beer.

Twitter user UFC Related, who posted the video, said: "Rangers fan throws a drink over Conor McGregor for singing tribute song in Glasgow."

However, the incident didn't dampen Conor's spirit as the 29-year-old then went on to shower the crowd with £20 notes on the dance floor.

The UFC champ was in the city just four weeks after his groundbreaking boxing bout with Floyd Mayweather.

He may have lost the fight but it's reported he walked away with a cool €100million.
